Panel Discussion for the Houston Endowment Building (MODERATOR)
Panel Discussion for the Houston Endowment Building
Now entering its 86th year of grantmaking, Houston Endowment selected lead architect kdA and design collaborator Mexico City-based PRODUCTORA through an international design competition with the goal of creating a purpose-built home for its operations on the banks of the Buffalo Bayou across from Spotts Park in Houston. The design team worked closely with Houston Endowment to envision a space to support the important work of the Endowment, provide opportunities to convene community partners and foster collaboration, enhance the Endowment’s ability to engage thought leaders, and help foster creativity and productivity. Through the use of technology in materials and design and a close understanding of the demands of Houston’s natural environment, the new headquarters will set the bar for institutional standards in sustainable design.
